Once upon a time
When I was battling
The demons of uncertainty,
in a place far from home,
Overwhelming aloneness
emerged from my heart.
In that dark and dense space,
I’d waited and hoped…
not knowing what to do…
would giving up my goals
be seen as failure
or an opportunity for change?
Deeply emotional with tears I shed,
I walked towards the river.
Suddenly I noticed
between the rocks,
the pink blossoms appearing,
striking against the gray sky.
Inside of me
Something cracked open…
The beauty of those flowers
thriving in such a hostile place,
reminded me of my own resilience.
Establishing a glorious healing experience.
Life’s lessons can surprise us in a most unusual way.
