The Greek word for “I AM”.
By knowing who we are, we are able to be independent of the opinions of others, to regain our power and our self worth – and just be our authentic selves.
For many of us growing up, “what the neighbors thought” or “losing our good name” lay at the foundation of our upbringing, sending us in careers that we were not suited to or stuck in marriages that we were unhappy in. Today more than ever, we are being “watched” and scrutinized as social media keeps us constantly in the light, placing a lot of pressure to create the “right” impression, to portray a certain positive aspect of ourselves and reflect a happy/fulfilling life. Incessantly searching for affirmation through thumbs up and like emojis only deepens the insecurities and the detachment from true self. By focusing on these external means of confirmation, we give away our own power to create a false identity. In the creation of this illusion, we lose who we are truly. The famous Greek philosopher, Socrates, said: “To know thyself is the beginning of wisdom.”
By knowing who we are, we are able to be independent of the opinions of others, to regain our power and our self-worth. We are freed from the shackles of a life that is not ours and are able to pursue OUR dreams and Our destiny.
This workshop will empower you to discover your authentic self, to come to value your strengths and truly understand who you are and what you need and want to truly BE content, at peace and fulfilled.
